The Octopus keeps fragments of dreams hidden in the filth of the waste, fragments that can serve as hands when creating a new body.
Origin and Manifestations
It hides beneath the visible floor and extends its tentacles toward a heat source. Severed parts continue to move and can be used as materials, but retain the memory of their master.
Erotic Nature
Its erotic nature lies in the multiplicity of touches and the loss of the ability to distinguish which touch belongs to the creature and which has already become part of one’s own body.
Countermeasures and Cost
The light of dead stars blinds it. Poison dries out the small appendages. Tentacles must not be kept near a sleeping person: they seek their familiar place and attempt to restore the whole.
