| DANGER | Moderate |
| MAIN THEME | The Face Behind the Mask |
The mask does not belong to a single being. It gathers the remnants of roles that people have taken on for celebrations, hunting, or the secret desire to be someone else.
Origin and Manifestations
Whoever wears it hears the voices of its former wearers and gradually adopts the movements of the chosen beast. The mask can be playful and almost friendly, as long as the person remembers that a face remains beneath it.
Erotic Nature
The temptation lies in the freedom to cast aside human restraint. The animal role permits desire without explanation, but returning to one’s human self becomes more difficult each time. In the end, the mask no longer hides the face—it replaces it.
Countermeasures and Cost
The mask should be removed in front of a mirror, while naming the features of one’s own face. Do not allow other participants in the masquerade to address the wearer solely by their role. A name and recognition preserve the human form.
