The torso is limbless, but not without the desire to move. It crawls toward the light and living bodies, as if trying to complete itself with the parts of others.
Origin and Manifestations
The creature avoids living roots. It does not understand the trap and may be lured toward them by other prey. Its movement is slow while a person is watching, and accelerates sharply in the blind spot.
Erotic Nature
Its eroticism lies in the grotesque nature of its incompleteness. It wants to press itself against another, to unite, and to make another’s body an extension of its own. Any attempt to take pity on it is perceived as permission to begin the fusion.
Countermeasures and Cost
Place a root in its path and avoid direct contact with its torso. Fire causes it to emit a mist in which new fragments may appear. After neutralizing it, check your clothing and skin for traces of attached tissue.
