The Slime separates the sisters immediately after they cross the well and turns the labyrinth into its own personal hunting ground.
Origin and Manifestations
It does not seek to kill Chelsea outright. Once it catches her, the creature uses her in its game and then releases her so the chase can begin again. To the Moonlit Doppelganger, the Slime is almost a pet.
Erotic Nature
Its eroticism is predatory and cyclical: catch, hold, revel in the reaction, and release. Resistance does not end the game; it makes it more desirable.
Countermeasures and Cost
Avoid dead ends and mark your route. The Slime has trouble changing direction in tight turns. The Moonlit Doppelganger is capable of recalling it, but the price of such help is participation in her own trial.
